A. General Terms

1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

The information we collect depends on the features or services you use, the context in which you interact with us, and the choices you make, including your privacy settings and the features or services you use. The features or services provided by the App may vary by country or region, the operating system or app versions in use, and the apps installed or downloaded on a device. Therefore, the features or services actually provided by the App, the processing of personal information, and the required app permissions are subject to the device you use.

You are not obliged to provide personal information to us. However, if you choose not to provide the personal information necessary for the App to provide the required services, we may not be able to provide you with such services, nor will we be able to respond to or deal with any problems you may encounter. We collect personal information to operate more efficiently and provide you with the best possible user experience. The following describes in detail the categories of personal information we collect, as well as how and why we collect and use such information.

We collect information about you in three primary ways:

• directly from you;

• automatically from your use of the App; and/or

• from third parties.

If the following clauses explicitly state that relevant information about you is only kept locally, then the information is collected and processed only on your device and will not be uploaded to our servers, and such information is not bound by this Privacy Notice. We aim here to provide clarification on any questions you may have and to be transparent about our processing of personal information.

Please note that if you provide other people's personal information to us, you must ensure that you have obtained their authorization.

1.1 Personal information directly obtained from you

When you use Intelligent Search Service, your data on your mobile device, which may include your photos, messages, notes, calendar, contacts, documents, settings, installed apps, and other information, will only be processed on your device in order to provide you with the results of on-device searching. We do not access, collect, transmit, or otherwise process the aforementioned data and personal information, nor do we share such data or personal information with any third party for any purpose.

When you use Intelligent Search Service, we and our partners will provide you with recommended content, including recommended apps and quick games. You can view our current partners and the personal information they collect on their own in section of Our Partners at the end of the Privacy Notice. We need to collect your GAID, app usage statistics, and the list of installed apps in order to provide you with recommended content. You can go to "Settings, - Drawer settings - Intelligent recommendations" or "Settings - Home screen & Lock screen - Home screen mode - Intelligent Search Service" at any time to withdraw your consent and opt out of recommended content from us and our partners.

When you use Intelligent Search Service, we will collect event tracking information so we can understand the active user base and usage of our services in order to develop product strategies, improve our services, provide content recommendations and advertising services, and settle advertising fees. "Event tracking information" refers mainly to device identifiers, device information (brand, model, sales region, and network type), system and apps (system version, application versions, and application package names), GAID, data about your activity (clicks, exposures, and app launches), startup link data, return data, settings compatibility, cache data, status information, product feature usage statistics, etc.

1.2 Personal information legally obtained from third parties

We may obtain personal information about you from third parties. For example, where permitted by law, we may obtain data about you from public or commercial sources, including your activity on social networks you use, and may combine it with other information received from you or relevant to you. In particular, if you interact with us through a social media site or third-party service, such as when you like, follow or share OPPO content on Facebook, Twitter or other sites, we may receive information from the social network, including your profile information, picture, user ID associated with your social media account and any other information you permit the social network to share with third parties.

2. How We Store and Retain Your Personal Information

2.1 How long we store your personal information

Pursuant to laws and regulations, we will retain your personal information for the minimum period needed to provide you with the required products or services. We will delete or anonymize your personal information upon the expiration of the retention period or when it can be deleted, unless otherwise specified by applicable laws or regulations.

If we discontinue the operations of some or all of our products or services for any special reason, we will promptly inform you and cease to collect and process your personal information in connection with such products or services. We will also delete or anonymize such information that we hold unless otherwise specified by laws and regulations.

2.2 Where we store your personal information

As a company operating globally, we provide products and services through resources and servers around the world. For the purpose of ensuring the high quality of our services (such as ensuring a high processing speed) and subject to local data protection laws, we will store your personal data based on the region where your mobile phone is purchased or configured. We have data centers in France, the United States, Singapore, India, and Indonesia. This means that your personal information may be transferred to or accessed from a jurisdiction outside the country or region where you use our products or services.

You understand that there are different risks under different data protection laws. We will take measures to ensure that the data collected by us is processed in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable laws and that, after being transferred across borders, your personal information receives an equivalent level of protection as in the country or region where you use the relevant products or services. For example, we will obtain your consent to the cross-border transfer of your personal information or take security measures such as encryption, de-identification, or entering into a necessary data transfer/sharing agreement with the recipient of your data before transferring your data across borders.

If the process does not involve the transfer of personal information, we will adequately inform you and delete or anonymize all your personal information under our control.

"Data processor" refers to any entity that processes personal data on behalf of the data fiduciary.

In general, we act as a data fiduciary to process your personal data. However, there may be third parties involved in the process of providing Intelligent Search Service. You understand that, in some cases, such third parties may have separate purposes and means of processing your personal data and that they will constitute independent data fiduciaries and process your personal data independently.

1. Personal Data We Collect and the Purposes of Data Processing

We collect your personal data only for the purposes of providing services and features related to Intelligent Search Service.

Please note that the processing of your personal data is permitted without your consent in the following circumstances:

(2) As necessary for the country and its agencies to provide or issue prescribed subsidies, benefits, services, certificates, and licenses to you;

(3) As necessary for the country or its agencies to perform their functions under the laws currently in force in India, or in the interest of safeguarding the sovereignty, integrity, and national security of India;

(4) As necessary for any person to fulfill any obligation under the laws currently in force in India to disclose any information to the country or its agencies;

(5) As necessary to comply with any judgment, ruling, or order issued under the laws currently in force in India, or judgments, rulings, or orders in relation to contracts or civil claims under the laws currently in force outside India;

(6) As necessary to take measures to provide medical treatment or health services to any individual in the event of an epidemic, disease outbreak, or any other threat to public health;

(7) As necessary to take measures to protect the safety of any individual or to provide assistance or services in the event of any disaster or public disorder.

2.2 Right to rectification and erasure

You have the right to (1) correct, complete, and update your personal data and (2) delete your personal data.

2.3 Right to redress for grievances

In general, we will respond to your data subject rights request within 15 workdays of the date we receive it. If you believe that we are unable to respond to your request, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission of India.

2.4 Right to withdraw consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal data.

After you withdraw your consent, we will cease to process your personal data accordingly. You understand that the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of our processing of your personal data based on consent before its withdrawal.

2.5 Right to designate an authorized agent

If you are a child or a person with a disability, you have the right to designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf to exercise your rights as a data subject. When you use an authorized agent, we will take the necessary action to verify the identity of the agent for a qualification review.

3. Processing of Personal Data of Children

In principle, we do not provide our products and services to children.

Please note that in India, children refer to natural persons under the age of 18.

(1) Right of access: You can request access to your personal data that we hold about you.

(2) Right to rectification: If you find that the personal data we process about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you are entitled to request that we correct it without delay and, where appropriate, complete your personal data.

(3) Right to erasure: You may submit a request for deletion of your personal data. In certain cases, we are obliged to delete such data without undue delay, for example, if we no longer have a lawful basis under applicable laws and regulations to continue processing your personal data. Please note that deleting all data on your device does not necessarily mean the deletion of the data we have collected and processed about you. Therefore, we encourage you to contact us (see "Contact Us") to request the erasure of your personal data.

(4 ) Right to restrict processing: In certain cases, for example, when you contest the accuracy of your personal data, you are entitled to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data so that we can verify its accuracy. After receiving your request, we will merely keep the necessary data or process the data required to fulfill your future restriction requests.

(5) Right to object: You have the right, at any time and on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object to any processing based on legitimate interests. Should you decide to object to the processing, we will stop processing the personal data concerning you, unless we can demonstrate compelling reasons for continued processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise, or defend our legal claims. You also have the right to object at any time to our processing of your personal information for direct marketing purposes.

(6) Right to data portability: You are entitled to obtain a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. In certain circumstances, you can transmit your personal data to any other provider.

(8) Right to complain: You are entitled to lodge a complaint with the competent authority or to file a lawsuit regarding our processing of your personal data. Relevant information can be obtained from the local data protection supervisory authority.

(9) Right to anonymity: Under certain circumstances, you have the right to request the anonymization of your personal data, meaning your data will be transformed to prevent identification. This right aims to reinforce the protection of your privacy.

(10) Right to information about companies with whom your personal data has been shared: You have the right to know which companies and third parties have received your personal data from us. This ensures transparency regarding how your data is shared and used.
